ENGLISH SPEECH : SCIENCE AND RELIGION

First of all, Let’s thank god the Almighty who has been giving us mercy and blessings until we can attend this meeting without any obstacle in this happy place and time.

Secondly, May salawat and salam be with our prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him, who has guided us from darkness to the lightness in the world as well as in the next world.

Thirdly, I’ll never forget to thank Mr.Chairman, who has given me opportunity to deliver a speech in front of the public.

Standing in front of you all, I would like to present my English speech under the title of : SCIENCE AND RELIGION.

The wise word said : Religion without Science lame, and Science without religion is blind.

According to the wiseworld, we have to study and practise both religion and science, because if we just look for general science by ignoring religion, our life will have no meaning at all, we are like blind people though we have eyes so that we don’t recognize which is permissible and which is harmful to eat and drink and we do not know which is compulsory and which is forbidden to do either.

On the other hand, if we just emphasize on the religion by ignoring general science, our actions of course will be nonsense, we are as lame people who can not make development and progress in the world, because we are stupid and just waiting for the death.

Therefore, we are to study and practise both religion and science until we can live well in the word as well as in the hereafter.

Nevertheless, don’t embrace any religion but Islam, because is the truest and the best religion. Allah has threathered us in the Holy Koran.
