ENGLISH SPEECH : LOOKING FOR SCIENCE

For the first time. Let’s thank Allah the Almighty who has given us mercy and blessing until we can meet together in this good place.

Secondly, Let’s send prayers and regards to our prophet Muhammad peace to upon him, who has brought us group of human beings from the darkness to the lightness, so that we are able to feel Islamic teaching right now.

Thirdly, I don’t forget Mr. Chairman who has given me a golden opportunity to deliver English speech before the public. So I say you thank you very much for your kindness Mr. Chairman.

Okay my brothers and sisters, I take this great chance to deliver a speech under the title of : LOOKING FOR SCIENCE.

Our prophetMuhammad PBUH (Peace Be Upon Him) said : “ The acquisition of knowledge is a duty incumbent on every Muslim male and Muslim female ”.

According to the hedlth above, we are obliged to seek knowledge and science because science is very important to our life, with science we can conquer all creatures in the world such as big mountains, giant trees, fierce animals, planets and so on. We can collect various animals in the zoo, we can fly faster than all kinds of birds by aeraplane and we can become leaders in the world.

Reason is our capital to look for science. The other creatures like animals, plants, and things are unable to look for science because they have no reasons, Therefore, it’s very pity if we don’t utilize our reason to look for science or knowledge as much as possible.

If we have no sciences, we will be the same as the other creatures even worse than they are. But if we have a lot of sciences we will be the best creatures in the world.

It’s impossible for us to get science without learning, we must study hard, not imagine. If science can be found by imagination, nobody in this world will be stupid.

If it’s necessary, please study abroad. And there is not any limitation of time to study. Our great prophet has said also “ Seek science from the cradle to the grave”.

Finally, I stop here my speech. Please forgive my mistakes if any. Thank you very much till meet again…
